SSTC NRS – 34 Years: Consistent Development and Contribution to Nuclear and Radiation Safety
The State Scientific and Technical Center for Nuclear and Radiation Safety celebrates its 34th anniversary today, 19 March.
Over the decades, SSTC NRS has become a reliable scientific and expert pillar for advancing nuclear and radiation safety in Ukraine. The Center’s work is founded on the principles of transparency, objectivity, expertise, and professionalism.
A comprehensive approach to safety has been established throughout this period. This approach encompasses enhancing the operational reliability of nuclear installations and the management of spent nuclear fuel and radioactive waste, as well as systematic public information and engagement efforts.
SSTC NRS team is made up of professionals who continue to advance the industry and make a significant contribution to the safe operation of nuclear power and the development of a modern regulatory framework. A key part of this mission involves international cooperation and sharing experience with the global professional community.
Even during the challenging times of war, the team remains dedicated to their cause, working for the safety of the state and fully embodying their motto: “Working for Safety.”
We wish SSTC NRS further scientific achievements, stability, and new milestones in strengthening safety at both the national and international levels.
