The objectives of the symposium are to identify key success factors based on safety cases that have supported successful licensing phases.
Explore the role of specific functions such as requirements management systems and information, data and knowledge management in establishing the safety case and supporting its development through successive key phases of the disposal program.
There are 8 main sections in the program:
Developing the safety case in Hungary
The role and evolution of the safety case in the transition to implementation
Bringing experience from nuclear facilities to deep underground storage facilities
Session for young professionals
The sixth session consists of three parallel sessions:
- Dialogue of the Regulator, Implementer and Stakeholder;
- Management of non-conventional and obsolete waste;
- Update of national programs and safety cases.
The seventh session consists of three parallel sessions:
- Safety Assessment and Research, Development and Demonstration;
- Next generation reactor waste
- Safety Case: Moving forward in the face of uncertainty.
Development and management of criteria and requirements
Advances in data management technology: bringing the benefits of big technology to the nuclear industry.
