The main goal of TopFuel is to bring together leading international nuclear experts, from operators and engineering companies, designers and manufacturers to research institutes and universities, regulatory authorities and technical support organizations, to share experience and achievements in the field of nuclear fuel, as well as to use the latest advanced research, to achieve high reliability, efficiency and safety of nuclear fuel.
The conference program includes three days and 5 sections:
- Operation and Experience
- Advances in design, materials and manufacturing
- Short- and long-term advanced fuel technologies
- Fuel transients and safety issues
- Modeling, analysis and methods
The program also includes two technical excursions: a tour of the Framatome fuel fabrication plant and the Laue-Langevin Institute, where you will be able to learn about the high flux reactor and advanced neutron technologies.
