Information Campaign to Encourage to Join in Support of Nuclear Energy in the United States
In July-August 2024, the Nuclear Company launched the information campaign aiming at encouraging the public to join in support of the development and construction of another 200 GW of additional nuclear power. According to the data provided by the company, the major problem in the industry is the budget and terms overrun by one-time nuclear projects.
The Nuclear Frontier bus tour was organized to inspire, educate and mobilize public support for the development of nuclear power across America. The meetings with government and industry leaders, as well as with the qualified experts were held in addition to the digital effort.
The tour began in Shippingport, Western Pennsylvania, where the first commercial nuclear reactor began operating in 1957. The bus tour lasted for one month and covered six States: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Richmond, Virginia; Lexington, Kentucky; Charlotte, North Carolina; Knoxville, Tennessee; Atlanta, Georgia; Washington.
