On April 27-28, 2023, the Eighth International Conference “Problems of decommissioning of nuclear energy facilities and environmental restoration” INUDECO 2023 will be held online in the city of Slavutych.
The topic is “INUDECO. Nuclear energy: the challenges of war”.
The conference has been held in the city of Slavutych since 2016 as part of the events dedicated to the anniversary of the Chornobyl accident.
Discussion Questions:
- nuclear generation in conditions of post-war recovery;
- nuclear and radiation safety of the country;
- handling of radioactive waste and spent nuclear fuel;
- implementation of the project to transform the “Shelter” facility into an environmentally safe system;
- operation, maintenance and repair of nuclear power plants under martial law;
- decommissioning of nuclear power plants;
- development and social challenges of atomic citys at the current stage.
Official languages of the Conference: Ukrainian, English.
