Russian Mine Exploded at Zaporizhzhya NPP
Today, on 13 April 2023, there was an explosion near Unit 4 turbine hall. Ukrainian nuclear scientists who continue their work at ZNPP heard the sound of the explosion. The Russian occupiers said that it was their mine that had detonated; but they immediately began to “calm down” the workers and hide their tracks so that the IAEA experts would not see this.
The occupiers continue to turn Zaporizhzhya NPP into a military base by mining the perimeter around the plant. Moreover, these actions will surely have consequences.
Europe’s largest nuclear facility continues suffering from the arbitrariness of the russian military and their henchmen, while Ukrainian personnel are trying desperately to maintain nuclear and radiation safety of the entire continent.
