The Symposium will bring together industrial, technical and scientific communities, and regulatory bodies involved in the management of NORM, with the aim to harmonize and streamline international approaches and methods for radiation protection and residue management in industrial processes involving NORM.
NORM X Symposium topics will include circular economy — the use of residues from industrial operations involving NORM — developments in traditional ‘cradle to grave’ approaches, the application of a graded approach, decision making on optimization of protection and safety for industrial operations and processes.
