XVI International Science and Technical Conference “Issues of Up-to-Date Nuclear Energy”

ATTENTION! Due to the deterioration of the epidemiological situation in Ukraine, there was made a decision to postpone the conference to April 2022. The exact dates will be announced later.

Date: 17—19 November 2021

Place: Karazin Kharkiv National University

Organizers: Ukrainian Nuclear Society, Karazin Kharkiv National University and National Science Center “Kharkiv Institute of Physics and Technology”.

The Ukrainian Nuclear Society invites to participate representatives of youth from specialized institutions of higher education, research institutions and nuclear energy enterprises of Ukraine in the conference.

Within the conference, it is planned to discuss trends and prospects for nuclear energy development in Ukraine and in the world, including the development of nuclear power system, materials for nuclear energy and the latest studies, issues of improving safety and efficiency of NPP operation, long-term operation of power units and NPP equipment aging management, issues of nuclear, radiation and environmental safety in the management of radioactive waste and spent nuclear fuel, etc. Based on the conference results, a collection of participants’ reports will be prepared.

Conference preparation and conduct procedures:

• by 24 September 2021 — applications and reports deadline;
• by 15 October 2021 — abstracts deadline;
• 17 November 2021 — registration of participants, opening, 1^st session;
• 18 November 2021  — 2^nd session;
• 19 November 2021 — 3^rd session.

Working languages of the conference are Ukrainian, English, Russian.
