The acting Head of SAUEZM Public Report

On February 25, 2021 the acting Head of the State Agency of Ukraine for Exclusion Zone Management Andriy Plyatsko will report online.
The report will cover the results of the Agency’s work for 2020.
In particular:
– overcoming the consequences of the Chornobyl disaster;
– decommissioning of the Chornobyl NPP and transformation of the Shelter facility into an environmentally safe system;
– radiation control and monitoring and maintenance of territories in safe sanitary and fire condition;
– providing and supporting the implementation of international technical assistance projects to Ukraine in the field of radwaste management;
– Carrying out of actions for preservation of cultural and historical heritage in zones of alienation and unconditional (obligatory) resettlement.
Agenda of the event:
14.00 – 14.30 – presentation of the public report.
14.30 – 15.00 – questions and answers.
Given the establishment of quarantine and the introduction of restrictive anti-epidemic measures in Ukraine, the event will be held by video conference!
