NESTet is the most important European forum discussing opportunities and challenges in nuclear education, training, knowledge management and human resource development related to nuclear energy and other nuclear applications.

Date: 16 – 18 November 2020,

Place: Avenue du Boulevard / Bolwerklaan 17, Thon Hotel, Brussels, Belgium.

Organizer: European Nuclear Society.

The 2020 edition will bring together nuclear stakeholders including policy and decision makers, educators, training providers, employers and human resource managers.

Conference topics:

• Current best practices in education and training;

• Future needs from end users in terms of workforce:

• Capacity building including skills and competences:

• Success stories in attracting, developing and retaining talent:

• Innovative pedagogical approaches, technologies and methodologies:

• Developing leaders in culture for safety and project managers:

• Networking and creating international relations:

• Other related topics.

Attendees of NESTet will be able to share their experiences and network with:

• Directors, managers and other experts active in recruitment, education and training in industrial, regulatory, policy making, academic, research and technical support organizations.

• Teachers, trainers, tutors;

• Students, trainees, tutees;

• Researchers in nuclear disciplines;

• Strategic planners of nuclear applications in industrial and governmental environments.

Abstracts should be applied by July 15 via online application form. Authors will be notified on their applications acceptance by August 31. They should submit their full papers until October 20, Power Point preentations – until October 30.
