The Exclusion Zone is Headed by the Former ChNPP Director
The State Agency of Ukraine for Exclusion Zone Management has received a permanent head. This is Sergiy Kalashnyk.

Kalashnyk was appointed by the Government Resolution of April 13, 2020.
“To appoint Kalashnyk, Sergiy Vasyliovych, as the Head of the State Agency of Ukraine for Exclusion Zone Management from the date of his actual performance of official duties for a term of five years with remuneration in accordance with the law, setting a probationary period of three months,” the document reads.
Sergiy Kalashnyk used to work as Deputy Project Manager for the construction of the New Safe Confinement at the NOVARKA joint venture (VINCI CGP / BOUYGUES). Since March 2019, he was Acting Director General of the “Chornobyl NPP” State Specialized Enterprise. His education is: mechanical engineer, Zaporizhia Engineering Institute (1989).
Until February 5 this year, the Agency was temporarily headed by Kateryna Pavlova, Head of the Department of International Cooperation and Public Relations.
