COTIS Plans Solar Power Plant Construction in the Exclusion Zone
The Center for Organizational, Technical and Information Support of the Exclusion Zone Management (COTIS) that belongs to the State Agency of Ukraine for the Exclusion Zone Management ordered the construction of a solar power plant on the territory of the exclusion zone. BlockMaster Ukraine LLC will perform the construction for the total amount of UAH 46.9 million according to the Prozorro public e-procurement system. The company’s agreement states that the cost of construction work will be 17.1 million UAH, and the cost of equipment will make up 19.9 million UAH.
The project provides for the construction of photovoltaic power plant with a capacity of 1.2 MW with two complete transformer substations and two cable lines at the site in the town of Chornobyl, 67 Radianska Street. The deadline is 31 July 2020.
As a result, the construction will cost about 39 thousand UAH per 1 kW.
