The 3rd meeting of the Group for the Exchange of Information on Technical Assistance to Ukraine in the Field of Radiation and Nuclear Safety of the Working Group within G7 Initiative “The Global Partnership Against the Spread of Weapons and Materials of Mass Destruction” will be held in Odessa on September 4-5
Organizers of the event: Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine, Administration of the State Border Service of Ukraine
The purpose of the event: Discussion of urgent problematic issues, challenges and possible joint solutions to ensure radiation and physical nuclear safety, improving cooperation in the framework of international technical security.
The event will bring together representatives of the State Nuclear Regulatory Authority of Ukraine, the Swedish Agency for Radiation Safety, the US Department of Energy, the Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs, the United Nations Interregional Research Center, the IAEA, the Defense Ministry Reduction Agency, the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and many others.
