Young Medical Physicists Received “List of Protocols and Recommendations for Use in Therapeutic Medical Physics”

The Ukrainian Association of Medical Physicists (UAMF) has developed a document that will help in the training and work with new equipment used in therapeutic medical physics.

According to the authors, “The List of Protocols and Recommendations for Use in Therapeutic Medical Physics” was developed to help medical physicists who work or start working in therapeutic medical physics at each stage of study and work.

The proposed list is not full but it may be a starting point to study or improve relevant area of the work of a medical physicist. The presence of any of documents in this list shows that it is universally recognized and used by a large number of experts in the world. In turn, the absence of other documents in this list is not a sign of their inapplicability.

For convenience, all protocols and recommendations are divided into groups; most of them are then divided into subgroups.

“The List of Protocols and Recommendations for Use in Therapeutic Medical Physics” was approved by voting of UAMF members.
