The Swedish Radiation Safety Authority report on 2012 year activities in Russia, Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova
This annual report contains information about the cooperation on nuclear safety that was performed during 2012 together with the nuclear industry and regulators from Eastern Europe. The projects implemented in Ukraine present the particular interest.
During the reported period a number of projects comprising both knowledge transfer and delivery of modern equipment were completed. These projects were aimed at achievement of improvements within the areas of safety analyses and assessment, ageing management, non-destructive testing, emergency power supply, nuclear waste, nuclear education and licensing of nuclear power plants.
